Miley Cyrus naked pose for Vanity Fair photographer Annie Liebovitz in it’s June issue has landed the 15-year-old pop singer in a heap of trouble.

Although she’s shown nearly nude in the pictures, a blanket does cover up all the important parts.

Apparently that doesn’t help and has not gone well with Cyrus’s Montana image prompting her to release an apology statement:

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic,’ and now, seeing the photographs and the story, I feel so embarrassed… I never intended for any of this to happen, and I apologize to my fans, who I care so deeply about.”
