TOXIC MAGAZINE: You're outrageously good-looking, when did you first realize boys staring at you?
SEHR MAHMOOD: Thank you for the compliment! Well, I never thought of it that way, but I did get a few compliments while growing up but it never once occurred to me that I would land up as Miss Pakistan World. That was a huge surprise for me. A friend talked me into taking part in the contest as she herself was participating.
TM: So how exciting are things in Manila?
SEHR: Manila is a lot of fun. I have made a lot of friends and am enjoying sightseeing, the beautiful islands and the great culture Philippines has to offer. In return, I am enjoying talking about my country and painting a new picture of Pakistan in the eyes of so many.
TM:What's the nicest compliment a guy can give you?
SEHR: Well, a guy once told me that, I am a smart and an independent woman, and I felt really good for someone to see that in me rather than the usual things guys say…
TM:A genie pops out of a bottle and gives you a wish. What would you ask for?
SEHR: I would ask him to give me three more wishes! Just kidding… I would ask him to grant me the ultimate wish of success in all my endeavors, be it family, career, and personal satisfaction.
"I like guys who are decent and have moral values..."
TM: What is it that you really like in a guy?
SEHR: Honesty and faithfulness. I like guys who are decent and have moral values. Someone who looks at a woman as support and as a partner in life.
TM: What does it feel like to represent your country in an international pageant?
SEHR: It feels great to represent Pakistan at the Miss Earth pageant. This is my first international pageant, and I am honored to be carrying this title of Miss Pakistan Earth 2006. My goal here is to educate people and other delegates about my country and to let them know that Pakistan is becoming a very modern country and to remove any misconceptions.
TM: You'd make a very hot investment banker. But do you really want to pursue that as a profession?
SEHR: Lol… Yes, I think education will make me wiser and if there is any decision I would like to make in terms of my entertainment career, education will help me in great lengths. And I can then make an educated decision. I am currently doing my MBA.
TM: Do Lollywood, Bollywood or Hollywood interest you as career options?
SEHR: I have been offered some roles in Lollywood, and the Pakistani Drama Industry. I don’t know if I am going to pursue it, as I have my MBA to finish. But be it Lollywood, Hollywood or Bollywood, I would definitely consider them, and am willing to take a chance.
TM: What's the craziest thing you've ever done? Surely there's got to be one at least?
SEHR: Yes I went Sky Diving in South Africa… the greatest feeling in the world!
